This is one of four paintings I did earlier in July to hang in a health food grocery store cafe. Their theme that month was tomatoes and I wanted to have some paintings hanging somewhere in this town, so I worked really hard and painted 4 in one week. I set the veggies up in my "studio" and painted from life. That is the only way i like to paint, really. Painting from a photo is so hard for me for some reason.I love veggies, so I really enjoyed painting these. They are back home now, and are available if interested in having this little gem hanging in your kitchen.
